Description:
East Metro Women's Council (EMWC) provides housing, rental assistance and support services for homeless and low-income families in Ramsey and Washington counties. The kids at East Metro Women's Council are calling! They are looking for someone fun to spend some time with them! We have numerous programs to help our supportive housing residents better their lives. We have Budgeting, Career Development, Parenting Classes, Resume Writing and Dialectical Behavior Therapy(DBT) classes, for our parents. We need to make sure our children are well cared for. Our most needed times are Mondays from 4-5:15 PM or 6-8 PM, Tuesday mornings from 9-12 PM, Tuesday afternoions from 1-3 PM, and tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:45 PM and Thursdays from 12:45-3:15 PM. We need you, loving people to play with our children. You will have to go through orientation and a back ground check. If you enjoy spending time with children please contact Cheryl S. at 651-773-8401 X 116 or caschindler@emwc.org to schedule a Volunteer Orientation.
